USB not working

i have a sandisk 64gb USB drive with all my songs downloaded on it, however when i connect it to my laptop i cannot find any of my downloaded songs in the devices section on rekordbox, also it is password protected but i have tried installing the songs into the usb file itself as opposed to the "ultra secure" password protected part and it is still not working.
