Wave Eight Speaker not Emitting Sound / Not connecting to Sonic Link

I bought the Omnis Duo controller & Wave Eight speaker last month - the first night I followed the manual and everything connected and worked as expected.

About 2 days later I followed the exact same steps this time the speaker would not connect via Sonic Link. I tried connecting with Bluetooth....which shows connected, however there is no output.

So I then tried connecting XLR cables to hard wire the controller to the speaker. Again, no sound.

I have tried to reset the speaker holding down both the bluetooth and sonic link buttons. I have turned off the speaker and disconnected several times. I have tried connecting different devices to the speaker, both wired and via bluetooth, and still no sound. The speaker battery is fully charged, and I have tried with the mains plugged in and not.

Anyone had this problem?
I have submitted 2 tickets with Pioneer now, and still have not had any tech support
It feels like it needs a hard reset, either that or the speaker is toast lol

In case anyone from the Pioneer / AlphaTheta technical support team read this, my 2 support tickets are 544268 & 546536. Still no contact!

Mine worked for like 15 min, both in BT and Link, then no sound anymore. recoupled link and BT several times, still no sound with either (while my other bluetooth speaker works with my source, so its not a source issue). When cables in aux in, also no sound. Fully charges, lights up, connects wirelessly, but no sound. I think the automatic power saving kicked in after I paused, and this apparently messed up the device. Reset procedure of the manual doesn't work (link and BT don't blink, nothing happens). Any idea what should I do (purchased it yesterday...)? No answers to the post above... Thanks all!

Yeah I think there is a fault with the speaker - mine has been in a Pioneer / Alpha Theta repair centre in CDMX since the beginning of January...at first they were going to order a part from Japan, then I pressed for a replacement. Which has now been sent as they could not fix the issue. I would ask for a new one if you encounter this problem.

Thx Nathan! Probably some faulty board then which is toasted, good to know it's useless to hope for a repair and better to go for replacement. Otherwise sound is awesome for such a small speaker BTW, very full while it lasted ;-) Will post my outcome too, cheers

Did you guys ever solve this?
