Testing Rekordbox 7 with new and old gear - Nothing appears on my CDJ-2000NX2

I have downloaded Rekordbox version 7.0.6 and I am testing out to see what I can and cannot do with some of my equipment.  I am just trying to export a simple playlist on to a USB and play that USB on a CDJ-2000NX2.  When I plug the USB into the CDJ-2000NX2 nothing appears.  As if the USB was not even plugged in.  I can take the same USB and plug it into a CDJ-3000 and it works as expected.  I can confirm the USB port on the CDJ-2000NX2 is working, I can plug in one of my older USB drives with music exported from Rekordbox Version 5 with no issues.

Is this a situation where the Trial version of Rekordbox 7 is limited or am I missing a step when exporting the music on to the USB drive?
