DDJ FLX-4 MIDI led blinking RekordboxDJ not fully detecting the unit
I recently bought a DDJ FLX4. When I connect the controller to my MacPro Catalina OS, RekordboxDJ version 5.8, I noticed that RekordboxDJ partially recognizes the unit. In the MIDI menu, I can see DDJ FLX4, but there is no button mapping. In the MacOS MIDI menu, I set up a new MIDI device as per the troubleshooting steps, but the controller's MIDI LED keeps blinking, and the LOOP buttons on both decks are lit, but with weak illumination. I've used other laptops, including one with Windows 11, but the issue remains the same. Has anyone experienced this problem?

The DDJ-FLX4 is not compatible with rekordbox ver. 5. You'll need to use version 6 or 7 of rekordbox.
Also, note that macOS Catalina is no longer compatible with the recent updates of rekordbox. Starting from version 6.7.3 onwards, rekordbox no longer supports macOS Catalina, so normal behaviour is not guaranteed if the computer is below the system requirements with the downloaded version.
