XDJ-AZ Waveform and other Issues.
I've just received my new XDJ-AZ and connected it by pro link to two CDJ 3000's. To say I'm upset is and understatement. First the screen is nowhere near as good as the CDJ's, it flickers and the refresh rate is obviously poor. The waveforms or phase meter from the CDJ does not transfer onto the screen of the AZ so there are no visual cues for beat matching (Really!) When transfering the phase meter from the AZ onto the screen of the CDJ you have to select the AZ deck as master to enable you to do this. Not great if your moving BPM's as your transitioning from track to track. There is no physical aux input now to plug my pc in so I can't output sound from my PC to the speakers connected to the AZ.(The XZ had ports and an aux switch which made this seemless). To connect my pc via blue tooth I have to play it through one of the mixer channels and reselect the input on the mixer menu every time I want to use it. The Bluetooth is really flakey. Won't connect automatically to my pc when turned on its an absolute nightmare takes me 10 minutes every time I want to connect. Pioneer this is absolutely rubbish, I should never have sold my XZ and would get it back in a flash if this was an option.

The waveform on mines is absolutely awful, it’s like playing snake on a Nokia 3210. I thought the Cdj 3000 refresh rate was trash, this is next level garbage. How can this have actually been tested and passed as ok. It’s like a step back rather than progression. It’s amazing that Denon can release a product namely the prime 4+ for a fraction of the price and the screen is so much better, night and day compared to this crap.
I created a ticket over the refresh rate and their response was essentially that nothing is wrong. My Denon SC5000s+X1800 was way better in nearly every way and that was from 2017. How do they think they can get away with such trash screens?
