Trouble using XDJ-AZ as a controller
I've had an XDJ-AZ since December. I've only ever used a USB to play and it has worked great. Last night i tried to connect to my Mac (M2 Air, 16GB RAM) to control rekordbox and I'm not able to. When i connect to USB the XDJ-AZ allows me to select "SOFTWARE CONTROL" but after that it does not recognize Rekordbox on my laptop. I cannot control the software. I can't see playlists in my browse section. I can change the audio device to the XDJ-AZ but that's about it. Both my job wheels display the rekordbox logo/text.
-I'm on rekordbox 6.8.5. The update manager tells me im on the latest version
-I'm on firmware 10.1.1 on the XDJ AZ
-The XDJ AZ is registered to my rekordbox account
I was under the impression the XDJ-AZ was a hardware unlock device, im on the free tier of rekordbox but i think i should still be able to control the software. I also have an FLX-10, it is plug and play and it works fine anytime i plug it into my computer to control rekordbox. Can anyone help?

After some more troubleshooting i got a note in the "my page" section stating "rekordbox is running using the free plan and cannot be controlled using the connected DJ equipment". Is the XDJ-AZ not a hardware unlock device?
I got it figured out... the update manager was staying in version 6 of rekordbox. I had to go to rekordbox.com to upgrade to rekordbox 7.
