E-8306 on file that shows in Track view and is formatted to similar valid working files
Hi Pulse, still trying to fix all the worlds problems with the mess that is Rekordbox?
I have discovered a few .AIFF's (whilst at a gig no less) that report back an error E-8036 when trying to playback in my XDJ-RX2. Of course when i check with my Rekordbox 6.8.5 rev. 25426-21591 on my Win10 Dell XPS if any files are missing it states "All files exist"... hence there is no way for me to actually know which files will/ will not work until i come across them while trying to play them on my controller. I have a 6k strong library so testing each is not plausible.
The files are encoded as lossless 1411Kbps @ 16bit 44.1khz sample rate which we both know should work fine in my controller. I have tried shortening the filename and removed any non-standard ASCII characters just in case but the controller refuses to play the files.
Can i get some help to try and find out why they are being reported as missing? Many other files with the exact same encode settings work flawlessly. I am stumped.
I have uploaded 2 offending files here >> https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1-Ui1EN_koGC2xvKxocZAsXk6egtJg1Te?usp=sharing
You will need a password to access so pls provide me a private email to allow you in (woohoo 2 free tunes for you!).
Any help appreciated and if you can suggest a method to filter out files that will likely not play that would be mega! I use FOOBAR for tagging/ file operations.
Still waiting 6 years for an OR operator for intelligent playlists, i guess its never going to happen?
