Master Database Export Failure - V7
Issues today...
Have always used separate internal drive for Music & database for my own backup and sync reasons, I wanted to split the music files from the database to make my drive sync'ing quicker as RB DB now has 200K+ files. So aiming for this.
Drive One - All Music
Drive Two - RB DB Only
Using normal method - preferences - advanced - database management (G:\ is selected which has all music and DB on currently) click arrows - move database - select F:\ - click through menu & confirm - says preparing - then gets to 5% (sometimes) and failure message pops.
Tried this on RB 7.1.0, 7.0.9 also 6.8.2 - all same. Windows 10 64 bit - all up to date. Tried starting program in administrator mode, have obvs turned it all off and on again too. No luck.
Tried syncing to another external drive with 200gb + free space (current pioneer folder is 16GB - new internal drive I allocated 30GB so should be fine anyway) - Current drive has 173GB free space on - so I don't feel like storage is an issue.
Also tried creating a full backup from FILE / LIBRARY / BACKUP LIBRARY (no music) - restored that in case I had something broken.
I have a large library I guess - 24K tracks
Seems to create a PIONEER folder and nothing else.
Have spent hours on this and searched web for solutions - absolutely nothing!
@PULSE - help - am I doing something stupid? Is this simply not meant to work?
