RX3 - Hot Cues don't update dynamically if same track playing?!

hey all need some clarification please

traditional Serato user here who's just bought a RX3 and have a question

w/ Serato when instant doubling same track.. any new hot cues saved on one deck is immediately is reflected on the other deck (controller, dvs, anything). so essentially.. i play a track, instant double (so *same* track now on other deck also),  whilst playing save a new cue point ad hoc where i want to juggle and that new cue point is immediately set/reflected on the the other deck so i can use that new cue point to alternate between decks. 

with the RX3 this is not the case?

same scenario: i play a track, instant double (so *same* track now on other deck also), whilst playing save a new cue point ad hoc where i want to juggle but it's not reflected on the other deck dynamically (again, same song) so i can't execute what i want to do. (same if i delete cue points..  they remain on other deck).   i can eject the song & reload which then displays the 'new' cue point.. but this defeats the purpose.

is this as designed or is my unit faulty?  :\
