DDJ 400 cue master mixier not connecting

I just received the DDJ 400 Pioneer DJ Rekordbox controller for my birthday. Today I started to use it (only my second time using it) and suddenly the cue master mixer (under cue 2) has stopped responding on the rekordbox software. The pannel itself is moving very softly still and was working this morning, however suddenly it is no longer responding or being mirrored on the rekordbox sofware. 

I have tried unplugging the cord, turning off the software, restarting my laptop etc but it is still not working. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated, i am a bit concerned as i have only had the product for less than a week.
