Need Help - My whole library just dissapeared
I opened Rekordbox 7.2.2 to find that my whole library has just disappeared.
I got the notification saying that my database needs to be transferred from Rekordbox 5 to 7, and that it will take some time to process etc..
I've never had Rekordbox 5, only 7 and everything was running fine
I skipped this message and rebooted the laptop and re-opened Rekordbox
Library still gone
I then got different notification about syncing MyTags as tags are setup on another device
I only have 1 device
I have cloud storage plan but haven't enabled cloud storage option
My setup....
Rekordbox 7.2.2
Windows 11 running on an MSI Katana A17
AMD Rizen 7 processor and 32GB RAM
USB Connections = DDJ FLX10, Keyboard/Mouse, Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 Audio interface. Powered USB Hub of which I have an external USB drive connected that has all my files stored
This situation is critical for me as I have a playlist/DJ set I've been working for weeks setup in the library that I need for an upcoming gig.
I have never carried out a backup of the library. Didn't think I had to as Rekordbox created the database and config files, and I don't expect any issues to occur. Yes that thought aged well.
