No Sound Output

Hi Everyone,

So I just got a DDJ-FLX4, and there is no sound output on my laptop or my headphones.

The preferences on rekordbox are set to what is the norm, output audio is 'DDJ-FLX4 WASAPI', master and headphones output are set to the same.

I went to the control panel and set my laptop speaker and microphone as the default devices for audio. I've allowed microphone access to the desktop apps. Even the buttons on the FLX4 react to the rekordbox interface, so I know that there is no hardware or connection issues. Despite all of this, no audio comes out, and every tutorial I watch shows the steps that I have already done. Looking for any answers here.
