Pioneer xdj xz

Hi all, I'm just wondering if anyone has come across a strange issue my controller seems to have started to to, basically when you're playing a track on either deck and press the vinyl button so that's eliminated blue to use the scratch function it instantly stops the track dead in its tracks and doesn't play the track untill I turn the vinyl mode off ? Has anyone come across this before or know what to do to fix it ?any help would be most greatfull oh it's running the latest updates aswell
