Streqming services for xdj-az and opus quad
I am thinking about buying opus quad or xdj-az. Which streaming services do these two models support as of now. Please answer for using both with and without computer.

Hi there,
Both units feature built-in StreamingDirectPlay, although the streaming services differ slightly:
Opus Quad: Apple Music, Beatport and TIDAL
XDJ-AZ: Apple Music and Beatport
Alternatively, when using rekordbox CloudDirectPlay (not to be confused with the above), you can access your rekordbox library without a computer.
When connected to a computer using rekordbox in HID/Control mode, you can access all the streaming services available in rekordbox, currently Apple Music, Beatport, Beatsource, Soundcloud, Spotify and TIDAL.
Please note that the above may be subject to change via firmware updates.
Can I ask , If I was to say for example use Beatport with a pro subscription for streaming access on the XDJ AZ , and I then proceed to play a set using streaming tracks on the AZ. Is a record of what track I played kept so that if i want to go and then purchase those tracks for offline use i can and also keep a record of what tracks I played for building future sets?
Having beatbox integration seems like a great idea for track discovery , but only if I am able to refer back to what I played later. Also am I able to build playlists that can be saved using streamed tracks?
Any advice would be appreciated as I am about to purchase a unit.

In your reply above, you mentioned "HID/Control mode". What do yiu exactly mean by this term in relation to performance mode. As far as I hear, there are 3 modes; Performabce, Link Export, Standalone.

Could you share the links for the latest updated manual for latest Recordbox version (I guess Ver. 7x) and AZ device.

This is the communication method used to communicate with DJ apps.
This refers to the USB communication method (class). In HID mode, the DJ player and computer communicate bidirectionally, allowing for more detailed control than MIDI, such as fast-forwarding, scratching, and loop playback. It can also receive information such as track, time data, and loop status.
