Disappointed with the Opus-Quad software model
I purchased the Opus-Quad at a premium price (around $5200 here in Israel), expecting a fully unlocked professional system.
It’s frustrating to discover that certain features still require an ongoing Rekordbox subscription. When investing this level of money in standalone hardware, I believe core professional features should be fully included — without additional monthly fees.
This business model feels disappointing and misaligned with what many professional DJs expect when buying high-end gear.
I hope Pioneer DJ reconsiders this approach and offers full functionality to Opus-Quad owners without requiring subscriptions.

Spent a few hours DJing on the OPUS-QUAD — what a fun machine.
Got it running smoothly without Rekordbox.

I have had the opus since release and it is an amazing machine, curious what is not unlocked for you? I use it in standalone and performance mode using all the features and do not have a subscription, its free because the OQ is an "unlock device"
