Concern about sound not coming out clean for Alpha theta Omnis Duo

Has anybody had an issue with the sound coming out sounding "staticky randomly?" Almost like its not coming in clear therefor coming out sounding funky. I use my unit for a ceremony and one of my songs wasn't coming out clear. It sounded fine coming straight out of my computer but coming through serato then through my board the sound was scratchy kinda. Has anybody experienced this with this board and what did you do to fix it. This is my backup board that I don't use very often but I've had it happen twice. My first thought was to check the firmware but i'm running the most recent one. 1.23. And no, I wasn't making a scratch attempt with the jog wheel. It was just not coming out clean without even touching the unit. Let me know your thoughts regarding this if you have experienced it too. Thanks.
