I just purchased my DDJ-FLX4 and my laptop does not recognize it as a device.  Any help?

Are you using Windows 11? If yes, due to the installation of Windows Update KB5074105, software on the PC can no longer recognize MIDI devices connected via USB.

Please install KB5077181 by following the instructions provided at the link below:

If you are unable to install this update, please try the below.

  1. Disconnect the DJ unit (controller, all‑in‑one unit, mixer) from the PC.
  2. Restart the PC.
  3. Close all applications running on the PC.
  4. Connect the DJ unit (controller, all‑in‑one unit, mixer) to the PC.
  5. Launch only the DJ application.
