DDJ 200 NOT WORKING when plugged in

When i plug in my controller, the buttons flash for 3-4 seconds then nothing lights up and no buttons are responsive. only the transition fx phrase sync button glows dimly. It worked fine for almost 2 years now and last week this happened pls tell me the fix

Hi there,

If you are using Windows, 

Due to the installation of Windows Update KB5074105, software on the PC can no longer recognize MIDI devices connected via USB.

Please install KB5077181 by following the instructions provided at the link below:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/install-windows-updates-3c5ae7fc-9fb6-9af1-1984-b5e0412…

If you are unable to install this update, please try the below.

  1. Disconnect the DJ unit (controller, all‑in‑one unit, mixer) from the PC.
  2. Restart the PC.
  3. Close all applications running on the PC.
  4. Connect the DJ unit (controller, all‑in‑one unit, mixer) to the PC.
  5. Launch only the DJ application.
