DDJ-FLX4

My controller is linked tot my computer but I can't browse through music or do anything. Some of the lights are on and the midi light keeps blinking.

Hi there,
Can you select DDJ-FLX4 in rekordbox preferences > audio configuration?

If not, have you ensured microphone access is granted in Privacy & security > Microphone, turn on Microphone access ?

Windows 11

Turn on "Let apps access your microphone"

Turn on "Let desktop apps access your microphone"

Windows 10

From Privacy & security > Microphone, turn on "Allow apps to access your microphone"

Turn on Allow desktop apps to access your microphone

 

If the issue persists and you are using Windows 11, see below.

Due to the installation of Windows Update KB5074105, software on the PC can no longer recognize MIDI devices connected via USB.

Please install KB5077181 by following the instructions provided at the link below:

If you are unable to install this update, please try the below.

  1. Disconnect the DJ unit (controller, all‑in‑one unit, mixer) from the PC.
  2. Restart the PC.
  3. Close all applications running on the PC.
  4. Connect the DJ unit (controller, all‑in‑one unit, mixer) to the PC.
  5. Launch only the DJ application.
