Pioneer XZ Link Issue

Hi,

I currently have an issue with my XZ and the Link function I need help with please

When in link mode, the screen on the XZ initially works perfectly fine, until I load a track on to a deck, at this point the XZ screen seems to freeze, I can't scroll through the play list and pressing "back" doesn't change anything on screen. 

However, if I look at the PC, the scroll and back buttons are working perfectly fine, just not on the XZ. 

If I navigate using the PC to select a track, it will seemingly load on the the PC but nothing appears the XZ either on the main screen or on the jog wheels

I have plugged in a USB and this issue does not happen, seems to be only in Link mode. 

Running windows 10
Rekordbox is up to date 
XZ drivers are up to date 

Can anyone help with a solution please.
