OPUS-QUAD UI/UX Fix: Invisible Loops on Compressed Waveforms

Hi,

There is a serious UI/UX flaw on the Opus Quad. When playing tracks that are heavily compressed or when zooming out the waveform, the active loop highlight completely blends into the blue or RGB waveform. It becomes invisible and you literally cannot see where your loop starts or ends during a live set.

I made a mockup with a very simple and effective solution.

The fix: Add solid orange lines at the top and bottom of the active loop area. As you can see in the screenshot, this makes the loop instantly visible regardless of the zoom level or how dense the waveform is.

This is a basic visual feedback necessity. Please pass this mockup to the UI/UX design team and implement it in the next firmware update.
