DJM-750MK2 USB recording has random audio dropouts on macOS Tahoe (QuickTime & Rekordbox)
hi everyone,
I'm having an issue with my Pioneer DJM-750MK2 when recording audio over USB on my Mac running macOS Tahoe.
The recordings contain random short audio dropouts/glitches. The strange thing is that the audio sounds perfectly fine through my speakers while mixing. The problem only appears in the recorded file.
Here's what I've already tried:
- Reinstalled the latest DJM-750MK2 driver
- Tried different USB cables
- Tried different USB ports
- Increased the audio buffer size
- Verified the sample rate is 48 kHz in Audio MIDI Setup
- Tested recording in both Rekordbox and QuickTime Player (same issue in both)
- The DJM-750MK2 is correctly recognized by macOS in Audio MIDI Setup
This setup used to work fine in the past, so I'm not sure what changed.
Has anyone experienced this on macOS Tahoe or found a solution? Could this be a driver/USB clocking issue or a compatibility problem with the latest macOS?
Thanks in advance!
