Multiple crashes on rekordbox 7.2.17 + macOS Tahoe 26.6 (M4 MacBook Air)

Since updating to macOS 26.6, I've had four separate rekordbox crashes on an otherwise clean setup (M4 MacBook Air 2025, rekordbox 7.2.17.0303, current at time of posting). Already reported these to support with full crash logs, but posting here in case others are seeing the same thing — would help to know if this is isolated to me or wider.

Crashes 1–3: EXC_BAD_ACCESS/SIGSEGV on the JUCE Message Thread, all during Export mode. Crash points were in waveform bar-number rendering and cue/loop update code.

Crash 4: EXC_BREAKPOINT on a background rendering thread, while just browsing my library (nothing export-specific). Stack trace shows a track-list row triggering a keyboard-focus grab off the main thread, which macOS's Text Services Manager doesn't allow — crashes with dispatch_assert_queue_fail.

None of these are in feature-specific code — they're all in general UI rendering that runs regardless of what you're doing, which is probably why it feels random rather than tied to one specific action. All four happened after updating to 26.6.

  • Already confirmed I'm on the latest available rekordbox version.
  • Can't downgrade macOS — this Mac shipped with Tahoe, so there's no earlier OS available for this hardware.

Anyone else on Tahoe 26.6 (or 26.6.1) seeing random rekordbox crashes, especially during export or while scrolling/browsing tracks? Curious if it's specific to Apple Silicon, this Mac generation, or something else. I've got a gig next week so trying to figure out how worried to be, and it'd help the case with support if others chime in with the same signatures.

I have a support ticket out which they said they are looking into but i'm absolutely gutted i updated rekordbox, i have a gig next week and i'm totally stuck in this current situation!

Thank

J
