Question about Rekordbox 7, hardware feature unlock or registration? how is it done?

In rekordbox 7 trial starts as you installed it and when the trial ends you can choose to either subscribe to a paid plan or not. Please see in the FAQ below:

Thank you very much Gabriel for your comment, the owner registration can be done in which section of rekordbox? Or should I wait until the trial month is over? Yesterday I connected all the equipment and everything is in the latest version of firmware but I don't see where I can do it, it is worth noting that on the page it is registered in my account in the hardware section.

Connect your equipment and go to rekordbox -> HELP (top bar menu) -> Owner registration/product registration.

The mixer is in the latest version and the driver and software are also in the recently downloaded version 7.

Product registration is greyed out..

I think we should wait for the trial month to pass so that the option to register the products can be activated.

So this weekend my RB7 trial which I activated when RB7 came out, randomly disappeared/deactivated and now it says I have the Free plan. Owner Registration is still greyed out.

What product do you have connected for owner registration?

XDJ-RX3 on the latest 1.18 firmware

I have the same problem with "Owner Registration/Product registration" is greyed out. The yellow icon has changed from "Trial" to "Free". 

I have an XDJ - XZ connected and this was already registered online in my Pioneer DJ account., I can see it there and my other registered hardware devices, turntables, ddj-200 etc. 

But the Yellow icon in RB will not change from "Free" to "Free Plus" as it is supposed. to.

Same issue for me on the FLX-4... 

Same issue here. Dual player is locked unless I plug in my XDJ-XZ through USB- this should be unlocked as I have my product registered on my account. My rekordbox still shows 'FREE' and not 'FREE PLUS'. 

The plethora of bugs like this in this in version 7 is pretty unacceptable

I just bought the FLX4 and it says TRIAL version, anyone figure it out yet? support takes forever and it seems like its just a loop. I don't want to return all my devices.

!!!!!!! I WAS ABLE TO FIX THIS !!!!!!!

All I did was start RB7 without my XDJ connected, then once it was up and running I plugged it into the USB and, boom, I got a popup prompt asking me to register my hardware. Then the display changed to FREE PLUS. 

Happy days.......

Owner registration is disabled with two Pioneer devices connected.

I have the same issue.  When I am plugged into my DJM-750MK2, I am able to use dual player mode but "Owner registration/Product registration" remains greyed out.  I have been going back and forth via email with a representative from Alpha Theta since June 27.  They instructed that I update the mixer's firmware (which was already updated).  They haven't emailed me back since June 28.

Exactly the same issue. I own a DDJ-800 and I've tried absolutely everything. This is super annoying.

Steve Reaver I think what you did was product registration, not owner registration. Two different things. 

We had multiple users reporting this issue with owner registration being grayed out and not working. 

Engineering team are aware of this issue and working on it. 

Hopefully soon we will have an update that fixes the issue. 

I will keep you posted to the best of my ability. 

Same problem, after using the Free Plus version without any issues, it just downgrade my Rekordbox to Free version all of a sudder. Any news regarding this matter?

I have the same issue, it was working fine then all of a sudden dropped back from "free plus" to "free" and owner registration is greyed out. 

This is since upgrading from 7.0.2 to 7.0.3. I have tried everything I can think off. Plugging in my XDJ XZ both before and after launching RB. Switching from Export to Performance mode. Nothing is letting me perform owner registration.  This is so frustrating. Thinking of going back to v6

Same here. Just connected a DDJ-1000 and the option is greyed out.

Today the same problem happened to me.

I have a CDJ-3000 DJM-A9 setup with all serials registered on my Pioneer DJ account. It went from Free Plus to Free, and there was no option to go back to Free Plus.

I got it working again with these steps:

Create a new temporary Pioneer DJ account.
In Rekordbox, change the account to the new one.
Then change back to the old account. Free Plus is back!
